I really don’t even know where to begin with this one. So I’m not going to even try. Instead, I’ll just lay out the facts and then let you all do the talking.
See the obituaries above? They are for the same man, Leroy black, who passed away a few days ago. The one on top was placed by his wife. The one on the bottom was placed by his longtime girlfriend. And in answer to what I assume would be the first question on most everyone’s mind….
A man answering the phone at Greenidge Funeral Homes told PhillyVoice that the obituaries were placed separately because “the wife wanted it one way, and the girlfriend wanted it another way.” But he did not anticipate any problems because everybody knew it was happening.
So if I’m understanding the funeral home quote correctly, the wife and the longtime girlfriend, at a minimum, knew of each other. Which means they each know that the other will be at the funeral tomorrow.
I seriously hope those two women have met before and were at peace with their love triangle. Otherwise, tomorrow’s funeral may end up on the evening newscast.
