When you’re right, you’re right. And boy, this Army training slide was right.
According to NBC News, one Army unit’s training presentation on insider threats included Hillary Clinton as one of those threats. The slide lists retired Army Gen. David Petraeus next to Clinton, the two being the likely examples of the slide’s point about “careless employees.” The other four people in the slide were specifically listed by name and were likely intended as examples of the slide’s point about “disgruntled employees.”
Below is what an Army spokesperson said to NBC News when contacted.
“As is common with Army training requirements, the local unit was given latitude to develop their own training products to accomplish the overall training objective,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
“This particular presentation had not been reviewed or approved by the unit’s leadership, and does not reflect the position of the Army. The training presentation has since been removed.”
I wonder what “the position of the Army” is about the other five people who are on the slide. Does those people being listed as examples of an insider threat reflect the Army’s position? And if Clinton wasn’t running for president and/or part of a political dynasty family, would her being listed in the slide reflect the Army’s position?
