This past Saturday, actor Mark Hamill, best known by most people as playing the Jedi Luke Skywalker, posted an audio bite to Twitter that may just be the best thing ever. How I missed it until this morning, I don’t know.
First, a little background. Back on December 31, 2016, President-Elect Donald Trump made the following comment on Twitter.
Happy New Year to all, including to my many enemies and those who have fought me and lost so badly they just don't know what to do. Love!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 31, 2016
Seems like a typical, “type before he thinks” tweet from Trump.
For those of you who aren’t nerds like me, Mark Hamill has been voicing the role of Batman villain the Joker in animated television and movies, as well as in video games, since 1992. Apparently, someone gave Hamill the idea to take the above tweet from Trump and read it as the Joker.
Below is the glorious result.

I don’t think I’ll read a Trump tweet the same way now. And with the way Trump likes to tweet, I’m thinking Mark Hamill will have plenty of material to use over the next four years should he decide to do this on a regular basis. Frankly, I hope he does!
As a bonus, below is a video of Mark Hamill voicing an impromptu short dialogue between the Joker and Luke Skywalker. It’s hilarious!
